Your artistic style is great, but I think this is a lot like porno. I'm sorry to say but, would a Valkyrie wear just a bikini to battle? Your skills are great though.

:-) Daniel A. Cortopassi replies: "What is and is not porno is a matter of personal taste so I'm not going to debate that. Suffice to say that I think I'm in good company in doing nudes. I suppose Botticelli was a pornographer, too? As for Valkyries in bikinis... this is ART. It's not supposed to be a field guide to practial Valkyrie wear."

I love your 3D stuff. In-cred-i-bal! I especially love Delfina and Scooter. If I could, I would like to write a poem to that. It has been dancing in little line around my head since, welllll, I don't know when I first took the 'dolphin' tour, but since then, at least. How do you do such wonderful graphic work!!! did it take you absolutely ages to learn??? i would love to be as accomplished as you with digital art!!! you arefantastic and awe inspiring please keep up the good work!!!!!

Hey, Daniel, some pretty impressive stuff you have here! I do have to say, though, that your digital pics lack some of the life that your traditional media seems to have. More traditional!!Keep it up!

The photoshop stuff is impressive, going to colored pencils I think takes so much more skill. You don't have the help of a computer. Great work

Hey Daniel..you have a strong skill with prismacolors. I have yet to achieve that quality yet with them. Its amazing how they lack a grainyness...do you use smoother board and also incorporate prismamarker's..??

:-) Daniel A. Cortopassi replies: "Thanks! I don't use any special tools, really. It's mostly a matter of technique when using the pencils, going over an area repeatedly until I get a solid color. It's possible to blend colors this way, too, layering several different pencil colors on top of one another. Once in a while I use a paper blending stump, but usually I can get the effect I want just by working the pencils. Varying the amount of pressure on the pencil makes a difference, though too much and the "lead" will break. I have not tried markers."
